  1. 2009 RPC CAF experience We did a very good exercise at the end of 2009 • 2 shifters + 1 shift leader + Experts: • Costantini/Ocampo/Carillo/Cimmino/Lomidze/Tupputi/Trentadue • Mandate: run “quality/validation” by hands and fast feedback to P5 made by shifters+shift leader using “instructions” • PA, DQM online/offline and Noise • DCS offline ? Configuration ? Masked strips ? • “basic” analysis to produce plots and result • Good results but: tools and instructions were still under development, too many tools to use and not many experts in shift Pigi Paolucci

  3. 2010 CAF proposal • Mandate: run “quality/validation” and fast feedback to P5 • Improve Run Quality certification: • Merging tools (DQM and PA) and include more from Reco if we need • Stable procedure for the noise and DCS info ! • Have more expert at CAF (training) • Do we need shifter ? In the more wide sense Pigi Paolucci
