  5. What do we want to achieve? Objectives: 1 To provide a Standardised Inspection Report 2 To standardise the Business Process

  6. How are we going about it? • Project Team established June 2006 • Sub-project groups: A. Standardisation of Inspection Tool and Inspection Report B. Complaints Procedures C. Advisory Guidelines. • Reference Group • Advisors

  7. How are we going about it? Principles: • to support Pre-School Inspectors by providing useful and effective tools that respect their professional judgement; • to enable the inspection process to become more transparent and informative to the public; • to enhance the quality of the pre-school service to facilitate parents to make informed judgements about their children’s care; • to ensure children have access to the highest quality pre-school service available.
