Features of ESCADA – RTU • Dual Redundant CPU boards based on 32 bits 68020 microprocessor • Separate CPU for ESR for scanning @2 ms. • Analog I/P – 576, Digital I/P – 4096, Digital O/P – 496 • Main CPU scans Analog I/Ps @ 1s & Digital I/P @ 10ms • Communication with Servers on Dual Redundant LAN I/O LAN. • Time synchronization. • Self Diagnostics. • RTU identification. • Relay Actuation.

Features of ESCADA – Servers • Dual Redundant Servers • Server- Dual Xeon 3.6 G Hz based Computer • Dual Hard Disk (RAID) • Acquires data from all RTU over dual redundant I/O LAN • Processes data and stores it for archival • Communicates with Display station Over Dual Redundant Display LAN • Alarm generation and transmission • Validation of device operation commands • Provides password protected supervisory control • Also works as Display Station
