Class rationale - continued Except from an email from Dr. Bart Dahmer – Director of Information Technology for FedEx, Memphis, TN and CEO of Innovo Publishing, LLC • “I like the way you set the class up. We (Federal Express) are constantly looking for people who have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as people who can communicate a message. So the more opportunity they (your students) have to learn this, the better….Employees who can actually think their way through business problems and find ways to solve them instead of waiting to be told what to do, are worth their weight in gold. Innovative, action-oriented employees with strong troubleshooting and communications skills are often our top performers and receive higher pay and more recognition for their contributions.”
