  5. Properties of Trapezoid • The sum of consecutive angle between two parallel sides are 180O • Isosceles Trapezoid : - The length of diagonals are equal - The base angle are equal - The length of sides (not parallel sides) are equal

  6. Definition of Trapezoid • A trapezoid is a quadrilateral with exactly one pair of parallel sides.

  7. Perimeter of Trapezoid • Formula to calculate perimeter of trapezoid • P = a + b + c + d • Why ?

  10. Exercise 2 • Mr. Karyo has a land which shape is isosceles trapezoid. The length of its parallel sides are 100 m and 30 m. A part of the land will be sold, such that remaining the square land with 30 m in length . If the price for the land is Rp 75.000/m2 , then how much money will be got by Mr. Karyo?

  11. Exercise 3 • One of the parallel sides of a trapezoid is twice the other. The height of the trapezoid is the average of the parallel sides. If the area of trapezoid is 324 cm2, find the lengths of the height and parallel sides of the trapezoid!
