What is iresc

WHAT IS IRESC?

WHAT’S DIFFERENT ABOUT IRESC?

  • IRESC is truly international, with members in over 40 countries

  • IRESC operates in a multilingual environment

  • IRESC uses secure “Voice-Over-Internet Protocol” to link distant radio zones together

Building the iresc network

BUILDING THE IRESC NETWORK

  • When disaster strikes, gathering early ‘on-the-spot’ information is essential

  • If official communications are compromised through damage or power loss, re-establishing them can take time

  • Often, radio hams are the first to ‘get the message out’ from a major disaster

When the call comes

WHEN THE CALL COMES…

The components of the IRESC network are maintained in readiness and will come together in different ways that suit the incident at hand…
