When the app icon is shown, download the application in iPhone/iPad/iPod.

  3. Background of the concept • Now a day everybody is trying to do something in handheld devices. With a large high-resolution LED-backlit IPS display, a responsive Multi-Touch screen, instant-on access, incredible battery life, and an amazing set of applications available right out of the box in iPhone/iPad/iPod. • iPhones and iPads are becoming popular day by day because of their ease of use and availability of free and paid applications in different sectors. • Move-ability – children can learn with fun while they are on the way of school, playing • Parents of autistic children are using these devices applications to teach them basic skills, like brushing teeth and communicating better.

Brief Description of AdarshaLipi • Adarshalipi – a Bangla learning software in iPhone/iPad/iPod for kids of Non Residence Bengalis (NRBs) or Foreigners. • The intuitive touch pad, clear sound and high resolution picture with English pronunciation of Bangla alphabets helps to users to learn Bangla easily. • Upcoming version of Adarshalipi will have so many new features including counting named “Dharapat”, hand writing practicing and word tracing.

AdarshaLipi • Main Menu of AdarshaLipi – Containing two blocks - one is Sharbarna and another is Banjanbarna. • Just clicking one of Sharbarna or Banjanbarna button you can enter into inside of that category. • You can start from 1st Sharbarna or any Alphabet just touching the alphabet, go inside that alphabet. • You can also start from any alphabet. • You can turn on/off and repeat of sound of pronunciation also. • Each alphabet is illustrated by a word, sentence, image, bangle audio pronunciation and English cue of alphabet. • Turn on/off sound or repeat any character with a single tap.

  8. Future Plan • This software can be developed for other handheld devices specifically Android based tablets (Samsung Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom etc) & other touch phones. • iPhone/iPad/iPod devices required. Need to be downloaded from Apple iTunes Store.
