Det stora utvandringen. Fattigdom. Allt fattigdom och egendomslösa under 1860-talet gjorde att det blev otryggt i landet. Folkrörelser. Därför bildade folk olika rörelser. Ledarna för de nya rörelserna blev fängslad eller utvisades urlandet. Många blev tvungna att flytta.

  5. Några flyttade till städerna för att arbeta i fabriker eller flyttade till Norrland för att börja odla i nya mark .

  6. Flytten till Amerika • Folk i Europa hade hört att den Nordamerikanska regeringen gav gratis mark till alla. • Därför var det många fattiga människor som sålde allt som de hade och flyttade till Amerika. • Ungefär 1,2 miljoner svenskar utvandrade till Nordamerika. • Resan dit tog 2-3 månader med båt.
