2. Briefing Template • Use the approved briefing template for all presentations • Helps ensure all briefings have a consistent professional appearance • Use one of the five slide templates (in slide master) • Do not modify the slide master • Five Templates • Title Slide, Bullet, Title Only, Dual Bullet, Divider • Use the approved color palate • Briefings created from the template will retain the template's color palate • The color palate includes colors that work well together and are suited to a military audience

3. UNCLASSIFIED Title in Black, Font 40 • Bullets in Black • All text in Calibri, Bold • Use bullet template, instead of text boxes • First Level Bullet (28) • Second Level Bullet (24) • Third Level Bullet (20) • Fourth Level Bullet (18) • Fifth Level Bullet (18) • Use bullet markers as shown above • No text smaller than 16 pt • During presentations, fonts smaller than 16 pt are not easy to see from the cheap seats at the back of the room • Adjust line spacing options as required UNCLASSIFIED

4. UNCLASSIFIED Title in Black, Font 40 • Do not use ALL CAPS in the titles • Use Title Case • Do not use periods for bullets • However, use periods for full sentences • As an exception, omit background graphics for slides that have a large amount of graphics • Use colored or underlined text to draw attention to key points • Use sparingly • Use colors from the theme palate • The base red and blue work best UNCLASSIFIED

5. UNCLASSIFIED Slide Markings • Classification top right and bottom left • If entire brief is unclassified, you don’t need it • Classification markings should be on individual slides, not on master, to avoid over-classification • Use the gradient colored text boxes in the template • As of date • On Title Slide only - Bottom center • Color: black • Size: 12 pt • Page number in lower right • On slide master (all slides except the title slide) • Color: Black • Size: 12 pt UNCLASSIFIED
