  2. UNDER OVER we are

  3. Matthew 8:8-13 • Only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. • For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it." • When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, "Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! • And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. • But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." • Then Jesus said to the centurion , "Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you." And his servant was healed that same hour.

  9. Ephesians 6:5-9 • (Bond)servants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as (un)to Christ; • notwith eye-service, as men-pleasers, but bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, • with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, not to men, • knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. • And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.

  10. Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. Forthere is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

  11. 1 Samuel 8:4-8 • Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah, • and said to him, "Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations." • But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, "Give us a king to judge us." So Samuel prayed to the LORD. • So the LORD said to Samuel, "Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them. • According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt, even to this day — with which they have forsaken Me and served other gods — so they are doing to you also.

  12. 1 Corinthians 3:4-8 • When one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal? • Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? • I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. • So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase . • Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

  17. Ephesians 6:9 amplified • You masters, act on the same (principle) toward them and give up threatening and using violent and abusive words, know that He Who is both their Masters and yours is in heaven, and that there is no respect of persons (partiality) with Him.
