  • Tardy bell rings at 8:20

  • Monday dismissal at 1:30

  • Tuesday-Friday dismissal at 2:50

  • Please make all attempts possible to schedule vacations and doctor appointments during non-school hours!

  • Students are required to make up all work missed during absences.

  • Students are in charge of finding out missed work.

  • Students may check for work in the Absent Binder.

    • Test below ZPD is no credit

    • Test above ZPD with teacher approval only

    • Fail 2 tests within grading period can’t test again until next grading period (70% passing)

    • Must sign up to take tests

    • Must read nonfiction books too

  • Forms due September 2nd

  • $295.00 per child

    • Cash or Money Order only: Due September 2nd!

  • Late assignments are NOT accepted

    • RED circles in agenda = missed assignment

  • Homework/Class work = 60%

  • Tests/Quizzes = 40%

  • Exception: Reading (AR 20%, HW/Class work = 50%, Tests/Quizzes = 30%)

  • All students (6th-8th grade) are required to wear at GKE lanyard with student ID

  • $3 to replace lost lanyard

  • Consequences:

    • 1st: warning

    • 2nd: detention

    • 3rd: Friday School

    • -4th: Suspension
