Independent Verification & Validation • The overall condition of the 21 major IT projects reviewed was encouraging • 88% Green • 8% - Yellow • 4% - Red • The Commonwealth project management (PM) methodology is being adopted by all agencies as a result of training and improved oversight • Additional training and guidance needed in the areas of risk management, scheduling, estimating, earned value, and quality management • The PM capability in Commonwealth agencies should continue to mature, driven by more effective oversight, training, and guidance and consultation expect the best
