  3. Progress • America has given African Americans a blank check • We have come to cash this check

  4. Attention Areas • Victims of police brutality • Signs saying ‘Whites only’ • African Americans cannot vote in Mississippi • In New York nothing to vote for

  5. I have a dream • All rise up and live out creed: all men are equal • In Georgia sons of slaves and sons of slave owners will sit down together • Mississippi transformed to oasis of freedom

  6. Dream (contd) • Children will not be judged by colour of skin but by their character • In Alabama black boys and girls will join hands with white boys and girls • Every hill & mountain made low, rough places made plain, crooked places made straight

  7. Let freedom ring from: • The Rockies • Slopes of California • Stone Mtn, Georgia • Lookout Mtn, Tennessee • Every hill in Mississippi

  8. All of the following will be free • Black • White • Jews • Gentiles • Protestant • Catholic We didn’t have the insensitivity to add clipart to this list, but guess you’ve got the idea by now…..
