Focus Today • Make sure that you havecovered the requested information about your author: • The life of your author (birth place, active years, any important events etc.) • Literary aspect (genre, why you are famous, important works, specific use of language compared to today etc.) • Literary example (present an example from any of your works by reading an extract or showing a movie clip etc. Explain it from your author’s point of view)

  5. Focus Today • Practiceorally • Writedownnotes to useduring the presentation. You should not have a full text to read from. The aim is to speak as freely as possible • Thinkaboutwhichproperties you canuse to make the presentation vivid. Alsothinkabouthow you caninvolve the audience in someway • Look at the criteria to make sure what you need to do in order to reach your goal

  6. Information AboutTomorrow • Eight presentations • Presentations will be done in halfclass, BUT everyoneneeds to come. The pupils who are not presentingtheir work will get anotherassignment on English literature • For pupils who are not presentingtheir work: bring Solid Ground 2 • Be here on time 
