Professional Learning- FCPS • All new mentors • 6 week intensive online course- Mentoring in the 21st Century • 3 hour training during New Hire Symposium • Attend Induction Summer Academy/webinars (based on slots available) • 4 quarterly trainings- 3 half-day, 1 full-day • Semester visits from mentor advisors (one-on-one) • Edmodo site for school-based mentors

  11. Evaluation- FCPS • Mid-year and end of year survey sent out to 1st and 2nd year teachers using TELL data questions • Principal feedback It is at the discretion of a principal to evaluate and determine if the mentor will continue or be released from their role.
