  2. Electronic Funds Transfer Mission of Electronic Funds Transfer Assistance Center (EFT AC) “To serve as a unifying voice across EFT participants and stakeholders to address problems that arises in executing EFT payments within Afghanistan.” 2

Who We Are ? • EFT AC is the EFT payments one stop shop assisting all EFT Stakeholders in Afghanistan such as: USG Contracting, USG Finance, Afghan Vendors, and Afghan Banks. • We are highly trained representatives who are fluent in Dari, and English to assist you with all your EFT issues. • We are located in Kabul and we are here to assist six days a week from 8am-4pm. 3

  7. Common EFT Problems… • Vendor name on contract does not match name on bank account • Bank account information is incorrect. (Ex. Account number, Account Name.) • Banks are delayed in posting the EFT to vendor’s account • Selected bank is not EFT capable ✘ • Missing or incorrect EFT information (Swift, IBAN, ACH) • EFT Forms not being typed • Using personal account instead corporate account ✔ • Notes : • We recommend using Afghan bank accounts for contracts that will be paid in Afghan currency, • Invoices should be submitted in Afghan currency for these contracts to avoid possible issues 7

Required Documents that we need … • The following is a list of the documents that you are required to submit in order to receive assistance with EFT payment issues: • Typed and not handwritten EFT Form • Copy of the invoice • Copy of DD250 • Copy of the first page of the contract / Schedule of • Payment (if available) • Modifications (if any) 8
