DAF Candidate Standards Analysis • RECAP • Last Week’s discussion surrounded Consent and Security labels used for data disclosure • DS4P community provided details on how it can be applied to address the necessary security and privacy concerns • Also DS4P can be used with SOAP/FHIR/Direct query stacks and layered as necessary.

  8. DAF Candidate Standards Analysis CONTINUED • Candidate Standards Analysis • Link to the Spreadsheet

  9. SOAP Query Stack Discussion • As outlined in the spreadsheet • For the SOAP query stack there is a possibility of using XDS and/or XCA • Briefly speaking XCA allows retrieval of documents from distinct affinity domains • Also supports federated queries • Supports the Gateway concept • Thoughts from the community on usage of XDS vs XCA ?

  10. RESTful Query Stack Discussion • As outlined in the spreadsheet • RESTful query stack has multiple options • IHE MHD • Native FHIR • IHE MHD • Revision 1 is limited in terms of its ability • Revision 2 is being aligned to FHIR • http://wiki.ihe.net/index.php?title=Mobile_access_to_Health_Documents_-_Supplement_revision_2 • Reach out to IHE team in progress • If IHE Team can update MHD to support DAF queries then we can align with IHE MHD • If MHD is not updated to support DAF queries, DAF initiative will have to create a profile working with HL7.
