Need to strengthen Country Capacity on MfDR Bank works through country systems • Reliance on country monitoring systems for data on results in WB operations: in 85% of FY10 projects – Requires reliable country data • Impact Evaluations –support to countries to undertake IE – requires timely accurate data • Support for statistical capacity and development of monitoring systems, • Especially for core, basic data from household surves, census data etc.
