Vision: Creativity and Imagination are critical steps in finding funding and sustainability. • Communication: Channels kept open, Non transit related importance • Expanding: Community involvement and education of transportation issues. • Use resources: ODOT Technical Review lead to re-organization of Athens Public Transit. • ODOT: Mobility Managers meetings, networking, trainings • 60+: agencies receive FTA transportation funding of some degree in Ohio, need to collaborate to maximize cooperation and sharing of services • Dream big……: (Ex: Osteopathic Heritage Foundation initial meeting) INNOVATIVE FINANCING AND COLLABORATION

TEAMWORK-Establish a community based team to share the goal of transportation and mobility • EDUCATE-Community must understand the importance of sustainability issues and share in the solutions • ASK-Asking for the order is the key component in selling any product. Funding and Collaboration is not any different. You must constantly sell transportation and ask for support. • HAPCAP is proud to have partnerships with many members our community that support our efforts to improve transit and mobility…….
