  3. MINIMUM NUMBERS OF DIRECTORS Minimum Numbers of Directors in a Company Directors are appointed by the shareholders of a Company for the management of a Company. A Private Limited Company should have a minimum of two Directors and a Public Limited Company is required to have a minimum of three Directors. Similarly, a LLP is required to have minimum of two designated partners as per Limited Liability Partnership Act 2008. Due to various reasons a director/partner may be required to be appointed or removed. Any such change should be notified to ROC and necessary filings be done within 30 of such change.
