  2. What are parasites? Parasites are organisms that spends a significant portion of its life in or on the living tissue of a host organism and causes harm to the host without immediately killing it.

  3. What are bedbugs? Bed bugs are parasites that preferentially feed on humans. If people aren't available, they instead will feed on other warm-blooded animals, including birds, rodents, bats, and pets.

  4. What Should You Do if Bed Bugs Are in Your House? Bed bugs are notoriously difficult to eradicate. They hide well and can go up to a year without feeding. However, it's important to rid your house of them as soon as possible, as they can breed and spread very quickly. Most pest control companies are equipped to handle bed bugs. There are a few home remedies you can also use to protect yourself, your clothes and your furniture.
