  3. About Our Center Established by Congress in 1965 (Republic Act 4223) as the Local Government Center Component of the University of the Philippines – National College of Public Administration and Governance

About Our Center • RESEARCH: for UP-NCPAG academic program & commissioned research • TRAINING: In-house programs and customized courses • CONSULTING: Technical assistance to LGUs and other projects on local governance Research Training Consulting For Local Governments and governance stakeholders

Training at CLRG • IN-HOUSE COURSES • Basic Courses • LADP & Executive Courses • Local Legislative Program • Courses for LGU Staff • Courses for Corporate/NGO sectors • CUSTOMIZED COURSES • Varied duration • Can be located off-campus • Modules/topics chosen by client/partner • Contractual agreement between CLRG and client/partner
