Continuous Improvement Plan • Utilize Guided Study to enrich/remediate. • Earn an “A” label in the 2011-2012 school year. • Earn an Excelling rating in 2011-2012. • Meet minimum SpEd percent passing to ensure AYP is met in 2011-2012. • Maintain 100% ELD reclassification. • Realize an attendance rate of 95%. • Maintain high levels of parent involvement.

Math Progress • 6th Grade has experienced significant growth in number sense & operations • Current 6th Gr data indicates a need to focus on Geometry & Measurement • 8th grade has identified students & sub-goals for focused growth • Guided Study rotations & data review are keys to intervention

  6. Reading Progress • Celebrations for 5th, 7th, 8th… but keep pushing! • 6th Grade celebrates strong growth in reading informational text. • 6th Grade renews its focus on literary text & reading comprehension to promote further growth

  7. Keys to Meadows’ Success • Reviewing data to drive instruction/intervention. • Guided Study for remediation/enrichment • Teachers willing to think outside the box, learn from each other, & give! • Supportive parents who value education & partner with us.
