  1. LED DISPLAY- RAY OF HOPE With the rapid development of science and technology, display technology is also changing. In recent years, LED display was widely used in public places for publicity, because of its advantage in large screen, super-vision, low-power, high brightness, long life and flexible display. Simple and practical control system is attracting more and more attention. This paper proposed a convenient control system of the LED display with single chip micro controller as the core, based on powerful wireless transmission control . This kind of control system eliminates the electrical connection of controller and the Led display. The micro-controller attached to a led display incorporates a block of digital logic that can be personalized for additional processing capability, peripherals and interfaces that are adapted to the requirements of the application .Micro controller provides the data and clock control signals to the shift register. Micro controller provides the data sequence to shift register data pin, the first column in LED matrix is connected to ground via ULN and the remaining other columns in the matrix are left unconnected. Hence LED's in that column will glow according to port data provided by the micro controller. When the data sequence is provided to shift register, the next column LED's will glow according to port data provided by the MCU (Micro controller Unit). Next columns will drive one by one with the corresponding sequence given to the shift register. Hence, MCU drives the data to the matrix column and thus acts as the controller of the led display.
