  3. Contact Information • Your name • Don’t use a template or fancy fonts. Keep it simple and readable. • Current address and current telephone number (use a cell so they can get in touch with you!) • Do not use cutesy answering machine responses. • Email address

  4. Education Section • Discuss highest degree earned. • Name and dates of institution where you earned highest degree • City/State of institution • What specific degree was earned • Certifications • Minors or Double Majors • Sometimes GPA, Praxis scores • Seminars, Conferences and Workshops as relevant.

Career Related ExperienceTraditional Reverse Chronological: Most recent position presented first. • Names of the companies you worked for (Schools you did internships or practicums at) • City and state for each company • Titles/positions you held • Employment dates • Duties you performed (Often in a bulleted list) Make sure they are in parallel form. Use active voice and action verbs. • Promotions

Make sure you can get their cell phone numbers. • Best- Recent, seen you teach, cooperating teachers, supervising teachers, faculty, academic advisors, employment supervisors, student organization advisors, current work supervisors. • Ask in plenty of time, give a written time line, copy of resume and job description.
