  2. WHAT IS PROFESSIONALISM? • The standing practice of displaying yourself to others in a presentable manner • Distinguishing yourself apart from other individuals by provoking polite etiquette, proper language, exceptional behavior, and appropriate attire • BEEing a District Board Member

  3. PROPER LANGUAGE Avoid using slang terms and profanity Be mindful of the word choice you use Connotation Proper grammar & spelling Take advantage of that red underline below a word! Think before you say (act)! Know the audience you are speaking to Deviates away from giving incorrect information

  4. EXCEPTIONAL BEHAVIOR Make yourself presentable to all who you communicate with Social Media Respect those around you Adults / Chaperones / Kiwanians Key Club members BEE on time! Submissions Attendance

  5. APPROPRIATE ATTIRE What you wear must comply with specified dress code Consequences may follow if not followed WHO DOESN’T LIKE TO LOOK GOOD? Dressing well DOES MAKE a difference! Just like Key Club members! As leaders, it is acceptable to dress one level above what everyone else is wearing Eye-catcher, attention-getter Adding that extra “oomph”
