  3. Meetings of the Group in 2005 To address the issue that there are many pathosystems and not all results available Nov. 04: Teleconference June 2nd Items: H teres, R secalis, DTR, U necator. Also QiI vs QoI

  4. New Results 2004 (1) Rhynchosporium secalis: confirmed fully sensitive Uncinula necator: confirmed fully sensitive follow up on Wilcox publication 2003 via NAFRAC (done) re. USA "R" isolates

  5. New Results 2004 (2) Helminthosporium tritici-repentis (DTR / HTR): Confirmed reduced sensitivity in Sweden Denmark, France, Germany (Bayer, BASF, Syngenta) Mostly F129L mutation 5 isolates found by Syngenta in DE and DK with only G143A Further investigation needed Helminthosporium teres: Reduced sensitive isolates confirmed in parts of France, and in UK, BE (at low levels). New – I isolate South-West DE. All with F129L mutation Isolates characterised, show a dose response to QoI (BASF, Syngenta) Product performance (mixtures) good in all cases

QiI and QoI Fungicides Issue Issue ex- D Hollomon who claims AOX to have a role in resistance in both QoI and QiI Good database exists from several companies including ISK to show no cross-R cyazofamid and QoI Contacts established with ISK, also with FRAG-UK on the matter (AJL) Agreed on June 2 that QoI FRAC should prepare a position stating the phenomenon to have no practical relevance.
