  2. En el film “Capitán de Mar y Guerra”, dirigido por Peter Weir, se recrea, en parte, la experiencia de Darwin a bordo del Beagle y su visita al archipiélago de las Galápagos. El actor Russell Crow encarnaría al Capitán Fritz Roy, mientras que Paul Betany haría lo propio con el joven Darwin. Es interesante prestar atención a las condiciones del viaje, el atuendo de la época y los enseres del naturalista en su excursión por el entorno natural de las Galápagos.
