  1. If Tyrann Mathieu ever drops his Honey Badger moniker, his next nickname is already waiting for him. Mathieu, in the middle of rehabbing from a torn ACL that ended his season, is crushing his rehab so much that his teammate, Larry Fitzgerald, is using a comparison straight out of a comic book to describe Mathieu's comeback. Mathieu's next nickname,NFL Jerseys Outlet if he ever wants another, needs to be the Wolverine. "They're having to hold him back," Fitzgerald said, per The Arizona Republic. "He heals like Wolverine. He's so passionate and we love him dearly. And we're so happy to see he's going to be ready to go for us by training camp, and he can pick right where he left off." A quick Wikipedia search tells me Wolverine is a quick healer, considering he has an entire section dedicated to his healing powers. Mathieu tore his ACL in December, which marked the second torn ACL of his career. The timing of December's injury couldn't have been worse. Not only did it leave Mathieu out of the Cardinals' postseason run,Game Saints Youth Jersey but it also placed his 2016 season -- at least the beginning portion of it -- in jeopardy. But, as Pete Prisco reported last week, Mathieu is targeting Week 1 as the date of his return. After reading Prisco's story, it's easy to believe he'll meet that deadline: As Mathieu joined some players later here during his workout, lifting his legs over some hurdles, the picture was a perfect image for his life. Going over one hurdle, there always seems to be another right behind it. This is a kid who was raised by an uncle and an aunt because his father was in the prison system for murder and his mother abandoned him. This is a kid who grew up around trouble, smoked pot for most of his life and ended up in a jail cell in Louisiana, even though he was a football star with a catchy nickname -- his own bad choices putting him there. Then after getting a second chance with the Cardinals, who took him in the third round in the 2013 draft, Mathieu tore his left ACL in December of his rookie season. Then on his way to his first Pro Bowl last season, he tore up the other knee. How much more can one guy take?
