  2. Charge • Investigate and develop a technical report on the characterization of the mechanical behavior of cement under confinement • Workgroup deliverable –Submit a standardized process to be incorporated into the existing TR related to “Mechanical Behavior of Cement” by 2017 Winter Meeting.

Workgroup activities since 2015 Summer Meeting • Workgroup meeting - Oct. 29, 2015 • Main items discussed • Triaxial test cement target sizes • Current work process/methods • Actions since Oct. 29, meeting • Collected and complied triaxial testing processes/work methods • Consolidating processes/work methods

Next Steps • Distribute triaxial testing process/work methods to team members • Workgroup reporting template drafted so members can: • Report what they consider as influencing the test results • Why it is influencing to their opinion • What they would recommend in term of fixing this parameters (cooperative testing, sensitivity study, etc…) • Proposed workgroup timeline • End of February: progress meeting to make sure everyone is comfortable with the reporting process • End of March: consolidation of all reports (might need some volunteers to help gathering and consolidate) • Mid-April : working session to discuss specifically each topic and agree on the next workgroup actions.

  8. 2016 Winter Workgroup Minutes • 10:45 hrs D. Williams called the session to order • Anthony Badalamenti, CURISTEC presented workgroup status and actions • Workgroup charge and deliverables were presented - No challenges were encountered • 2015 Summer Meeting – objectives, actions and status were shared – no challenges were encountered • Workgroup activities since summer meeting were discussed – no challenges were encountered • 2016 workgroup activities for Q1-16 were presented – no challenges were encountered • Communicated that 2017 Winter Meeting Deliverable was optimistic and timeline will be at risk – No challenges were encountered. • General discussion • Cam Matthews with C-Fer Technologies from Canada- commented on sample loading of temperature and pressure was important to triaxial results • Jamie Hayes, Kevin Madsen, Lrick Lukay with (OFITE), Jeff Moon with Chandler and Cam Mathews with C-Fer Technologies and Daniel Bour with Blades Energy would like to join the work group. – Info will be send to Workgroup Chairman by Jan. 22 2016 • Rick Lukay motioned for session adjournment • Maggie Benge – seconded the motion • Acceptance vote (Yea and Na) was conducted – no Na’s were encountered. • Session adjourned at 11:10 hrs.
