  1. Guten Tag, mein Name ist Heather Carpenter. Ich bin Professorin für Psychologie. Ich bin aus Kanada. Ich wohne in Nova Scotia. Meine Eltern leben in Lunenburg. Mein Vater war Fischer, aber jetzt ist er pensioniert. Meine Mutter ist Hausfrau. Sie kommt aus Deutschland. Sie spricht immer Deutsch mit mir und ihr Englisch hat einen deutschen Akzent. Mein Vater und meine Mutter sind beide 63 Jahre alt. Ich habe auch eine ältere Schwester. Sie heißt Margaret und wohnt jetzt in Toronto. Ihr Mann ist aus Brasilien, und er ist Kinderarzt. Sie haben zwei Kinder, Astrud und Gilberto. Ich habe an Acadia und Dalhousie studiert, das sind zwei Universitäten in Nova Scotia. Das Studium war sehr interessant, aber teuer, zirka $5.000 pro Jahr. Dann war ich an Queen´s. Diese Uni ist in Kingston, in Ontario. Ontario und Nova Scotia sind zwei Provinzen in Kanada.
