  2. Until now, one of the problems in the manufacturing process of waterproof gloves has been to attach the waterproof membrane to the lining and membrane to outer shell. Jofama is one of the few European brands who uses a newly developed technology for ensuring that the membrane and the lining is securely attached in the glove. The technology can also be used on gloves without a membrane and the advantage is a more flexible glove were the lining is properly attached to the outer material.

  3. In general the membrane is attached to the lining at the fingertips by tape and stitching. The lining and membrane is then turned inside out. The same procedure is repeated when attaching the membrane to the outer material.

  4. With an adhesive is applied between the lining and the membrane which is activated by heat. The lining and membrane is then turned inside out. The same procedure is repeated when attaching the membrane to the outer material.

  5. The result is a glove where the lining, membrane and the outer material is tightly bound together, resulting in a flexible glove. The technology can be used on gloves with or without insulation.
