  2. どんな学生に適した授業？ • 洋楽と洋画が好きで、英語の持ち歌を増やし、洋画を字幕なしで理解できるようになりたい学生には最適の授業です。

  4. 1.授業の目的・方法 • 洋楽と洋画を通じて、口語英語の諸相を学びながら英語の力を付ける。CAL教室におけるパソコンと大型スクリーンを活用し、オンライン・　インターラクション（ブログ、ウェブサイト、掲示板、チャット、メール）を併用した、リスニング、リーディング、スピーキング、ライティングの４技能および語彙力と文法力の養成のために「わかりやすく、楽しく、ためになる授業」を目指す。

  7. STEP2. 洋楽の歌詞の談話分析 • 洋楽の「歌詞の文法」を理解する • 語彙や構文の知識を強化する • 曲の背景にある心情や文化を理解する • 洋楽の作詞ができるようになる

  8. STEP3. 洋楽の歌詞のシャドウィング • 歌詞を見ながら曲を流して合唱 • 発音、アクセント、イントネーションを鍛える • 日常にあふれる英語の音に敏感になる • 洋楽の持ち歌を増やし個人的な資産にする

STEP4. 洋画の台詞の内容理解 • 洋画のワンシーンの台詞の理解に努める Viewing Activities • STEP 4：1ST VIEWING • 字幕なしで一度見ながら以下の質問に答えてください。 • What does the terrorist ask Mitchell? • STEP 5：2ND VIEWING • もう一度同じシーンを見ながら以下の質問の答えとして最も適当なもので選んでください。 • Who does the terrorist mean by "someone more important"? • (A) the President • (B) the Vice President • (C) the First Lady and the First Daughter • STEP 6：3RD VIEWING • 更にもう一度同じシーンを見ながら以下の英文の内容真偽を行ってください。 • (1) Mitchell doesn't know everyone on the plane. (T / F ) • (2) Mitchell is afraid of dying because she has a boyfriend to marry soon. (T / F ) • (3) The terrorist knows who is in the baggage deck. (T / F )

STEP5. 洋画の台詞の音声認識 • PERCEPTION TASK • STEP 7：PERCEPTION TASK（約２分３０秒） • 今度は画像を消して音声のみ聞いてもらいます。空欄に聞き取った語句を入れてください。 • Terrorist : Tell me your name again ...... for the record. • Mitchell : Melanie. Melanie Mitchell. • Terrorist : You (1: t_________) often with the President. • Mitchell : Yes. • Terrorist : So you know (2: e________) on this plane. • Mitchell : Yes. • Terrorist : I bet they like you, huh?   11. STEP6. 洋画の台詞の談話分析 • 台詞に見られる口語英文法の特徴を拙著「口語英文法の実態」（小樽商科大学出版会）に記述されている三類型の視点から分析して、文語と口語の違いを理解する。

  12. STEP7. スピーキング＆ライティング • 洋画と洋楽の談話分析の中で触れた語彙構文の中から特定の項目を選び、以下の活動を通じて使える技能に高める：

  13. 履修上の注意点 • 時間厳守：授業は毎週金曜日午後４時１０分から５時４分までCAL（情報処理センターのある建物の３階階段近く） • 教科書（小林敏彦著「口語英文法の実態」）と英和・和英辞典（電子辞書）を毎回持参すること。 • 指定された席に着席すること。毎回ペアワークがあるので遅刻や欠席をしないように注意すること。

  14. 成績評価の方法 • 出席 (attendance)３０％ • 参加度 (participation)（２０％） • 小テスト (quiz)（２０％） • 試験 (exam)（３０％）を基に成績を付ける。  • 成績評価の基準上記「成績評価の方法」に関する事項を総合して評価する。詳細はオリエンテーション時に説明する。 • 　秀 ：総合評価　１００％～９０％ • 　優 ：総合評価　　８０％～８９％ • 　良 ：総合評価　　７０％～７９％ • 　可 ：総合評価　　６０％～６９％ • 不可 ：総合評価　　５９％以下

  16. 筋トレして筋肉を付けたい人へ • MAC (Muscle Activation Circle)（和名：筋肉増強サークル）に入会してください。数年間休部状態でしたが、復活することになりました。 • ３か月で必ず変化が出てきます。 • 毎週水曜日午後５時半から大学体育館ジムで合同セッションを行い、あと２回は各自の好きな時間にトレーニングをします。詳細は直接私に問い合わせてください。
