  6. Earth’s Ability To Support Life Yes, It can support life because, the layer of gases surrounding is called atmosphere. This is the air that living things breath. Life is possible on Earth because the planet has water on it’s surface and oxygen and gas in it’s air

  7. Additional Facts Land covers about 30% of Earths surface. Water covers about 70% of Earth’s surface. Scientist believe that Earth is about 4.6 Billion years old.
