2. Student: This holiday season, I’m happy just staying here and sharing a special Christmas vacation with all my friends.

4. Who’s been naughty? Who’s been nice? Is it all pretend? I believe this Christmas Eve, I’ll share it with my friends, My friends.

10. Betty: Well, I’m sure glad that all of you have decided to count your blessings and see how lucky we are to get to spend our holiday right here with all of our friends. Student: Hey Miss Betty. What ever happened to your friend, Mr. Wilson? Betty: Why, I don’t know. He seems to have disappeared. But look who’s here? (Santa enters) Santa: Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas! All: It's Santa!! Santa: Ho! Ho! Ho! I heard there were some students stuck at school for the holidays. So I got here as quickly as I could.

11. Child: Oh Santa! I knew you’d be there for me! Santa: Of course I would kid! I’m Santa Claus! Ho! Ho! Ho! Betty: Looks kind of skinny to me. Child: Looks just right to me!

18. Scene 8 Betty: Well, well, well we’re glad to see you finally made it Santa! (under her breath to Santa as she nudges him in the ribs…) Way to go, Ralph! You’re just in time! Hey, nice padding. Looks pretty fakey, but I’ll give you an “A” for effort. Santa: And who might you be? Betty: Oh right! Good line. See you tomorrow when you get back to your ‘day job’ cleaning this school.

19. Santa: Whatever! In the meantime, I’m happy to see that you young people have finally discovered that the joy and magic of the holidays were right in front of you all along. Student 21: That’s right, Santa! By being stuck here at school for our holiday vacation, we’ve learned that Christmas is not always about what you get. It’s often about what you have. Student 22: Like good friends! Santa: Ho! Ho! Ho! Exactly! Betty: Way to go Ralph. You make a great substitute for Santa, even if you are way too skinny.

20. There’s a knock at the door. Ralph enters in half of a Santa costume and walks up behind Betty who does not look at him. Betty: (still talking to Santa) Boy oh boy, you really had us going, Ralph. Big belly. (She pokes him in the belly) Ralph: Oh Betty. Betty: Pretty good fake beard (She gives it a tug) Santa: Ouch! Ralph: Oh Betty. Betty: (She pinches his cheeks) Rosy cheeks!

21. Ralph: Betty! (tapping her on the shoulder) Oh Betty! (She’s annoyed but finally turns to face him.) Betty: Knock it off, Ralph! (She does a double take) Ralph! (She looks at Santa in shock) Ralph? (She looks at Ralph) You’re Ralph! Ralph: That’s right! Same as always. Betty: But! But! (to Santa) Who are you? Santa: (slowly) Ho! Ho! Ho! (smiles) Betty Faints.

22. Mabell: Gloria! I’ve got to hang up! Things are getting way too much fun right here at school! Forget the mall, Gloria! I’m staying right here to share my Christmas vacation with my friends! Ralph: I just got word that the snow has slowed. The roads are open and we can all start our holiday vacations immediately! All: HORRAY! Santa: In that case, I’d better be on my way because I, for one, have to work this holiday! Merry Christmas everybody! Merry Christmas one and all!
