AFTA 2535 ASEAN FREE TRADE AREA เขตการค้าเสรีอาเซียน ใช้ความตกลงว่าด้วยอัตราภาษีพิเศษที่เท่ากันสำหรับเขตการค้าเสรีอาเซียน (ความตกลง CEPT) เป็นกลไกหลักในการดำเนินงาน ซึ่งประเทศสมาชิกต้อง ลดภาษีศุลกากรสำหรับสินค้าอุตสาหกรรมและเกษตรแปรรูปเหลือร้อยละ 0-5 และยกเลิกมาตรการกีดกันทางการค้าอื่นๆ ภายใน 5 ปีหลังจากนั้น

IPS Agreement 2549 Article 7 Standards and Conformance under ASEAN Framework Agreement (Amendment) for the Integration of Priority Sectors 1. ให้เร่งดำเนินการและจัดทำ MRA รายสาขา เริ่มต้น 1 มกราคม 48 2. ส่งเสริมให้หน่วยงานควบคุมกฎระเบียบในประเทศยอมรับผลการทดสอบ ที่ออกโดยห้องปฏิบัติการทดสอบที่ได้รับการรับรองระบบงานจาก หน่วยรับรองระบบงานที่ร่วมลงนามในความตกลง ILAC และ APLAC เริ่มต้น 1 มกราคม 2550 3. กำหนดเป้าหมายและระยะเวลาที่ชัดเจนในการปรับมาตรฐานสินค้าสำคัญ กรณีผลิตภัณฑ์ใดไม่มีมาตรฐานระหว่างประเทศและได้รับการร้องขอจาก ภาคอุตสาหกรรม ก็ให้ดำเนินการปรับมาตรฐานให้สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐาน แห่งชาติภายในกลุ่มสมาชิกอาเซียน ภายใน 31 ธันวาคม 2548 4. ปรับมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์ที่สมาชิกได้ให้ความเห็นชอบแล้ว ภายใน 31 ธ.ค. 50
