Exception: Akhenaton and the El Amarna experiment • Osiris—ruler of the underworld • Resurrection central for the gods, pharaoh, and commoners • Theocracy with the pharaoh as god’s representative (You will need to be able to compare and contrast these characteristics with the Greeks)
