  9. What are the next steps? 2. Pick-Up Procedures Strongly encourage parents to bring the pick-up ticket or pass to the person picking up the child.

  10. What are the next steps? 3. Volunteer Name Tags Volunteers are asked to put on a tag from the basket when they arrive so parents can identify the responsible person in the room.

  12. What are the next steps? 4. Pagers and Text Messaging New pagers are being reviewed by the new security team.  The system will have pager and texting capabilities. *They  will not be here for this stage of Baby Steps.

Pagers and Text Messaging • Pagers will be moved to the alcove by the Twos and Threes. • Take a few pagers at the beginning of your shift. • Volunteers in the 11 service will return them after children are picked-up. • To contact a parent, signal the volunteer on the nursery hallway, and he/she will page/text the parent from the alcove.

  14. What are the next steps? 5.Diaper Bag tags Tags are on order and will be passed out when they arrive. These are a way to minister to our members and make visitors feel welcome.

  15. Review of Current Procedures Visitor Forms Every visitor completes one form. Please make sure the white copy goes with the attendance sheets. Attendance Sheets Please mark everyone in the room including children and workers. If a child or adult name is not on the form please write it down. Cleaning Toys Please clean toys, changing tables, etc. if there is not another service after your shift (11:00 service, 6:00 service). If you cannot get to cleaning, please put the items on the counter, and we will clean it.
