Important trends and policy decisions • Government policy has taken distinct steps towards increasing use of technology in education • e-Learning is seen as a major enabler and instrumental in any education strategy • Organisations like the World Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB) are more committed than ever to helping countries develop their education systems
