Scenario 2 – Buy single warranty after machine is shipped, i.e. when information on which machines are to be upgraded is finalized & available (registration done at factory). Scenario 2 bulk – same as Scenario 2 but with multiple unit of warranty & machines. Scenario 3 – Buy Warranty standalone (most common), when information on which machines are to be upgraded is not available yet (registration done by customer). Scenario 1 Order : Tying Warranty together with HW purchase Step 1: Always enter the machine’s order details first, followed by the intended warranty upgrade.Step 2: When the service PN is entered on the next line after the machine info, under service tie code column, make sure the corresponding line number of the machine is entered (e.g. if the machine order is in line 10, enter “10” on the service tie code column)Step 3: Ensure the quantity of machine matches the quantity of the warranty upgrade. Step 4: Ensure that you key in the warranty email address under the services line item to receive the warranty registration confirmation email.

  7. Scenario 2 Order : For single machine & warranty Step 1: Identify the machine & the correct PN for the upgradeStep 2: In LPOS, enter the service PN, and click on arrow to expand the line. Key in the machine’s info that you wish to tie the upgrade to. Once order is submitted, registration will be done at back end, and customer will receive confirmation email that machine has been upgraded.

  10. Services Registration Processing: Scenario 2 Bulk Orders Step 2: Download the service registration template by clicking on the link. Step 3: Follow the step-by-step guide stated on the page. Upon successful submission of the registration template, customer will receive an email with an Authorization number & PIN number.

  11. Step 4: Once Authorization number is received via email, customer can then place their order through LPOS. Registration will be done at factory’s end.   13. Scenario 3: Buy Warranty standalone (order process) Step 1. With the help of your local sales lead or the Services Product Manager, identify the correct services PN that you intend to orderStep 2. Place order through LPOS.

  14. Step 3: Registration Required Email will be sent to the email ID provided in the order.

  15. Scenario 3: Buy Warranty standalone (registration process) Step 1. Access the URL provided in the Registration Required email.   16. Scenario 3: Buy Warranty standalone (registration process) Step 2. You may download a copy of the T&C in PDF format to be read. Step 3: Select “Agree” to acknowledge that you have read the T&C. Step 4: Click on either single or bulk registration. Select bulk registration if you intend to register multiple machines

  17. Scenario 3: Buy Warranty standalone (registration process) Step 5: Click to download the bulk registration template in .csv format. Save the file for update. Step 6: Complete the .csv file by filling in all the required cells.

  18. Scenario 3: Buy Warranty standalone (registration process) Step 7: Return to the page, browse for the completed file location, and click upload.

Scenario 3: Buy Warranty standalone (registration process) Step 8: You will be directed to this Service Registration page, should there be any error encountered, you will be prompted with a message. Double check to ensure all data in upload file is correct (i.e. machine type, serial number etc), then upload again.

  25. Registration for Thinkplus & LenovoCare Physical Packs • Step 3: Download a copy of the T&C • Default language will be displayed • Translated languages will be available for selection (if available)
