  2. Leisure Time • Americans was a new country in the 1920S • Due to the New laws Americans had more Leisure Time. • Leisure Time are extra time for relaxation and time spent to have fun.

Sports In America • American now had time to go to the movies, opera, and watch sports and etc. • The 1920s became known as the “Age of Play”, a time when sports became famous and loved in America. • Sports like boxing, baseball, football etc. were really famous back in the 1920s. • People like Babe Ruth, Harold Grange, Jack Dempsey etc. are famous sport athletes back in the 1920s.

Baseball • Baseball was not really famous in America until the 1920s • Baseball was so popular in America it became known as America’s pastime. • Famous baseball players were people like Babe Ruth, Satchel Paige, Jim Crow etc. • Famous baseball teams in the 1920s were the Yankees, Red sox etc.

  5. Babe Ruth • Babe Ruth was a very famous baseball player in the 1920s • He first played for the Boston Red Sox then he got traded to the New York Yankees. • Babe Ruth was not really famous until he moved to the New York Yankees. • In the 1920 Babe Ruth broke a lot of major league record by hitting a lot of home runs.
