THE Luck-O NEWS http://teacherweb.com/TX/RLPaschalHighSchoolFWISD/MsLuck/ - Since 2010 THE WORLD’S IMPORTANT NEWSPAPER In groups you are going to create a newspaper article based on facts presented in The Crucible’s Act II In groups of three to four you will decide who is the reporter, the sketch artist, book looker and editor. Each group member will help in determining which part of plot in Act II needs to be put into the class newspaper. Each article will need a title, an image and at least three quotes from the play documented (Act#, line and page#). Your news story must include the 5 W’s of accurate information directly from the play (Who, What, When ,Where, Why ) You will want to use language that is exciting and draws attention to the story. Though you must stick to the facts of the play, you may use a reporters voice or spin to help the reader understand the urgency of the news. Have fun with your sensational news story.
