The True Token JOSHUA 2:10-12 For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed. 11 And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath. 12 Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token:

Token A thing serving as a visible or tangible representation of a fact, quality, feeling, etc. A voucher that can be exchanged for goods or services, typically one given such as a gift or for travel. (Heb.) 'owth A sign, a distinguishing mark, banner, a miraculous sign, warning, or proof. The True Token

  6. DESPERATIONS 28 …I thought I'd just carry that over for tonight, but it was just too tremendous. I don't know whether the people got it or not… And I hope there was some good tapes on it, so it can be carried out, that I believe, with all the Message that I ever brought, that absolute was ordained of God... Course, the regular commission, like the Seven Seals and things, that was directly the Word of God. I'm talking about a Message to preach; I believe that… the one that's needed to follow those Seven Seals. The True Token

  7. 29 Now watch what's come after the Seven Seals: the uniting of the people, united signs, the red light flashing in the last days, the sign of women getting prettier, and man, what they would do. All these signs of the Holy Spirit leading up, then come right back here to the capping-off of all those Messages since the Seven Seals. It's capped off in this one thing, the Token, that we are all right, see, just check ourselves and see if we're in the Faith. 63-0901 The True Token

THE.TOKEN 129 Look, then when we realize and present the Token, the Life it took for the Token, the Blood speaks for us… "Blessed is he that does all of His Commandments, he might have right to the Tree of Life." 132 Then, when we pray, we must have the Token to present with our prayers. Now don't fail to get that. When you pray, you must have the Token to hold over your prayer; if you're not, you pray until the Token comes, 'cause you're not promised to receive it. See, you've got to have this Token first... 64-0308 The True Token

  11. TOKEN 338 The Token is the sign that the purchase has been made and been accepted. Now, you can't get the token from the railroad fare until you pay the price; and the only way you're going to pay the price is pay it. Believe It. Accept It. Full obedience to the whole Word of God will entitle you to the Token. Full obedience! Not the part of It as far as your denomination goes, but all of It. Full obedience to the Word, which is Christ, brings you into Christ. 63-0901 The True Token

JOSHUA 2:18-21 18 Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee. 19 And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him. 20 And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear. 21 And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window. The True Token

JEHOVAH.JIREH 39 Throwed his little head back like that, reached down in his bosom, took the knife out of its sheath, raised it up, pulled his hair back, and in his heart choking, swallowing it back, as if to say, "Farewell, Isaac, my boy." Raised his hand and about that time, in full obedience, even if you're doing something wrong and walking in obedience, the Holy Ghost is there to stop you. You say, "I'm afraid if I ever receive the Holy Ghost, I might act indecently." Don't you worry, if it's the Holy Ghost, He will know when to stop you, and when to start you; He's got the button in His hand. So He knows when to turn on and turn off. Just throw yourself at His mercy. 61-0212 The True Token

  15. LETTING.OFF.THE.PRESSURE 30 I can see a little boy as he looks out the window. And he runs back to his father, setting reading the scroll, and saying, "Daddy, little Johnny Jones down the street that I played with, he's dead. His mother is in the street. And I looked, and the great wings of the killer is coming this way." I can see the old dad, just as calm, look at the son. And he said, "Daddy, I'm your firstborn, and our house is next. How could you set like that when you know that I'm the next one?" I can see the old dad lay the scroll down, pick the little boy by the hand, walk over to the door, and said, "You see that blood?” "But daddy, what power has that blood against that great black wings of death?” The True Token

  16. "Son, it's God's promise... 'When I see the blood I'll pass over you.' The only thing we have to do is apply it." Now, there could be a barrel of blood setting at the door, and if it's not applied, it won't work. It had to be applied in God's provided way. That's the same as it is tonight. You don't apply the Blood by talking about it; you apply the Blood by accepting it, and getting on the lintel post of your own heart. Then you are free. 62-0609 The True Token

WHY.LITTLE.BETHLEHEM 66 But here's a beautiful picture, there was one named Ruth, another daughter-in-law, which was a type again of the Gentile Bride, who kissed her mother-in-law, and said, "I'll forsake everything. I'm going with you. Let your people be my people. Let your God be my God. Wherever you die, there I'll die. Where you are buried, there I'll be buried." That's it. That's what God wants. It's not that borderline, halfway, but an absolute full surrender to the Kingdom of God. 58-1228 The True Token

  18. THE.FAITH.OF.ABRAHAM 35 Now, listen. This may hurt just a little bit, ruffle the feathers up the wrong way, you know, but real children of Abraham, seed of Abraham, believe that. 'Cause you're dead in Christ, take on Abraham's Seed, and are heirs according to the promise. The same Holy Spirit was in Christ is in you, and you believe the same thing. So if you do not believe it, remember, there's something lacking, 'cause the Holy Spirit will certainly agree with His own Word. 55-1118 The True Token

  19. DESPERATIONS 21 And the devil can impersonate any of those things, but he cannot be the Holy Ghost. He can impersonate these gifts, but he can't be the Holy Ghost. And the Holy Ghost is the Token that the Blood has been applied, because It follows the Blood all the way from the Book of Redemption. That was the purpose of Him coming. That's what He followed in every age. Every age He has followed that, to see that It's brought forth, and they could not be made perfect without us. And now the entire Holy Spirit visits the Church, making God in human flesh; as He did before Sodom, the burning there, which was a type. Then, Abraham, He appeared to him. The True Token

  21. 22 And all the things that He hasn't done down through the ages, in the church ages, He is now doing. Back to the Word, because the messages and the messages and the messages has to wind up in the entire Word. And in the last days, the Seven Seals being opened, was to pick up every straggle that's been left off in it, and make the whole thing in one great big body of the Bride, that them who lived back there was not perfect until this Church be perfected, this Bride group in the last days, to bring them in, and all together be taken up. 63-0901 The True Token

WITNESSES 19 No matter how much you go to church, how well your name is engraved on its stained windows, or on its book, it'll never mean nothing to you, until you are a witness of the resurrection of Jesus Christ by the infilling of the power of the Holy Spirit. You are taking somebody else's word. 54-0303 The True Token
