Everyone worked a lot, but in spite of tiredness everyone was satisfied with his work.

The IX students’ conference of associated UNESCO schools “Model UNESCO: Trust democracy – trust school”. Representatives of 160 schools of Ukraine took part in the UNESCO conference, and all of them were divided in three sections: culture, education and science.

  1. The IX students’ conference of associated UNESCO schools“Model UNESCO: Trust democracy – trust school”

  2. Representatives of 160 schools of Ukraine took part in the UNESCO conference, and all of them were divided in three sections: culture, education and science.

  3. Every section developed its own part of the common resolution, which was adopted at the end of conference.

  4. After “peace and war” project was presented and the declaration of human rights read students were discussing problems in Ukraine regarded to this declaration.

  5. During the work everyone was trying to remember and was giving examples from our everyday life. Problems of good and evil, war and peace, problems in families and society were discussed.

  6. Everyone worked a lot, but in spite of tiredness everyone was satisfied with his work. During the conference children from educational section were discussing all important civil documents.

  7. 20 participants from Odessa, Sebastopol, Kiev and other Ukrainian cities took part in the first sitting, in the second they were 24. • The discussion encompassed the following issues: • inner peace of a person • how different dimensions of one’s inner world interpolates with each other • different aspects of the notion “peace” and how they are reflected in everyday life • human rights and their relation to a person • the ways of harmonization of people’s relations Educational section

Wheel of Peace • Section of international coordination and monitoring of the program “Education for all” • Its members created a part of the Wheel of Peace entitled “The art of living in peace with oneself “ • Later it was presented during the general sitting • The UNESCO commission role play • the Ukrainian educational system and the UNESCO program “Education for all” in comparison • discussion and working out methods due to harmonize international and interpersonal relations • resolving a decision on the above mentioned issues

Carrying out of UNESCO actions plan of cultural diversity (Universal Declaration) . rehabilitation of self identity lost by individuals and communities due to the conflict, migration and urbanization to carry out on a constant base international discussions regarding fundamental points of the report ”Our creative diversity” and universal UNESCO declaration about cultural diversity. working out programs directed towards strengthening of jointvalues

The final decision • To unify efforts in the further fulfilling of Programs “Education for all”, “Information for all”, “Cultural diversity”. • To deepen cooperation of UNESCO and UNESCO associated schools of Ukraine, of Ministry of Education and general education schools, of private and state schools. • To see making of conditions needed to protect human rights as the main goal of mankind in the 21st century . • To educate citizens in understanding of their responsibility in security matters and human rights in general. • To intensify intercultural dialogue aimed to inform citizens on human rights matters in Ukraine compared to other countries • To carry out joint moves of UNESCO associated schools of Ukraine and general education schools aimed to popularize UNESCO programs. • Interregional forum “Ukraine: for cultural variety in space and time” • To undertake moves of UNESCO associated schools of Ukraine towards renewal of the World UNESCO heritage list through working out of 58 unique objects of cultural and environmental heritage of Ukraine (58 schools = 58 objects) • To intensify intercultural dialogue aimed to develop the model of information society.
