History of Campus Housing at WSU • Apartments have been available to • students on campus for many years • Residence Halls on campus are new • (2002, 2003 & 2005) • Housing & Residential Life now • oversees 3 apartment buildings and 3 • residence halls that could accommodate • approximately 3,000 students Office of Housing and Residential Life

Ghafari & Atchison Halls • Built in 2002 & 2003 • Primarily 1st year students • All female floor, Honors floor • & the Community of Scholars • Double occupancy • Private bath • Fully furnished • Floors are coed; individual • rooms are not • Least expensive residence • hall option Atchison Hall Ghafari Hall Office of Housing and Residential Life

  6. Towers Residential Suites • Built in 2005 • Freshman – Graduate Students • Floor classifications • I.E. Honors, Graduate Students, • 24 hour quiet hour, Freshman, • etc. • 7 suite styles – each fully furnished • with private bathroom in suite • Suites house 1 – 4 people • On-site fitness areas and kitchens • on alternating floors • Open for breaks
