  2. The accident • At January 10 in 2004, I took off with a motor glider for making new record. • After leaving soon, the engine had stopped. I had an emergency landing. • As the result, I break 3 spines. An ambulance carried me to a hospital. • It needed 5 months to heal completely. • Until spines fixed, I kept to be fixed on a bed and could not take up-right position. • I could not move arms and legs without heavy pain.

  25. Conclusion • There are many ideas with the strict needs. • For making effective devices, engineers will make complex and difficult to implement devices. However, there are simple and easy devices that are effective for the needs. • In some cases, the needs can be satisfied with the combination of existing devices and tools. My experience confirms these feelings.
