List the most common types of dietary carbohydrates outlining their sources. list the different enzymes required for breaking down of dietary carbohydrates into individual sugars , state their chemical function, and their location. Explain the effect of enzyme deficiency (congenital or acquired) on utilization of dietary carbohydrates. Explain the effect of defect in the carrier mechanism on glucose and galactose absorption.
