  2. What is Halloween? • Halloween is a night of fantasy and mystery where there is remembered and represents everything related to the world of the dead men and the phenomenon in yes of the death.

  3. Origin • The holiday that today is celebrated by Halloween's name goes back to it does three thousand years, when the Celts were living through largely of Europa Occidental. When the summer was coming to his end, the Celts, who were practising the religion Druid, were celebrating the festival called Samhain. This one had a meaning transition between the clear epoch (summer) and the dark period (winter). For them it was the beginning of a new year, but also it had a meaning of opening to other worlds.

The pumpkin, his vegetable icon • The pumpkin is the most representative symbol of Halloween's festivity, but not as vegetable, if not as an oil-lamp igniting a candle in his interior, drawing in his surface diverse motives, it is used to light of macabre and enterteining form the night of Halloween producing the own effect of light of a lantern.
