  4. Participation • Increasing Participation is an obvious goal in courses. • It includes frequent discussion and small group-work. • If few students participate for volunteering answers, asking questions or discussion, class teachers will have low opportunity to assess and to promote learning.

Participation The FSLC technique may be familiar to you • F = formulate an answer on your ownS = share your answer on your ownL = listen carefully to your partner's answerC = create a new answer that is superior to your individual answers • Each step is important, but we often do not emphasize the listen and create part enough.

Participation I will increase the participation of students by following ways: • Group discussion. • Q & A Sessions. • Note Writing. • Quiz. • I will create an environment in which all participants have the opportunity to learn and in which the class explores issues and ideas in depth, from a variety of viewpoints. • I will encourage quiet students to speak up and, occasionally, ask the more verbose students to hold back from commenting in order to give others a chance.

  7. Attendance • Class attendance facilitates learning in variety of ways. • Discussion provide current information which are not sometimes present in text books. • It can enhance critical thinking. • Attending class can also increase student’s interaction with other faculty members.

  8. Attendance • My Criteria of Attendance would be: • Students should have above 80% attendance. • Students securing above 80% must get full sessional marks. • Students attending labs on regular basis should get 80% marks in practical.

  9. Assessment • Assessment is the tool that measures how well the students achieve the learner outcomes.

  10. Assessment I will use following methods of assessment: • Verbal Quiz. • Weekly Test. • M.C.Qs. • Short Answers. • Group Discussion.

  11. Assessment I will encourage them to take part in assessments. Before any test , the topic would be provided so that students will not hesitate on test day. Group discussion will be between two groups. Each one is allowed to share their point of views. Each member will be given a chance to speak. For better results, all students should be given equal chance of learning.

Home Work Strategy • Creative assignments meeting learning objectives. • I will explain the purpose and give them valid reason to finish homework. • “Always finish your homework and bring it back the next morning” • Provide students with some choices. • Give students some time in school, so I can assist them if there is any problem.
