Conclusions • Without information people are living in blindness • Any geo-science needs geo-data and geo-information to achieve its goals and to tackle today’s complexity of earth-related problems, increasing geo-information is required • Geomatics is the science concerned with the developing of technologies and methodologies for collecting, storing, processing and dissemination of geo-data and geo-information • The processing of the mass of geo-data emerging from new sensor technologies requires automation
